Native Ads (Taboola/Outbrain) for Nutra and Electronics: Advertorials, Site Bids, and the Real CPA After the Pre-Sell
Alex Nogueira · 2026-10-07
Native is the channel where the advertorial feels native — which makes it the best place for products that need explaining.
Funnel
Ad (image + curiosity-driven headline) → advertorial (800–1,500-word article, first person or “journalist”) → product page. A 15–30% click-through rate from the advertorial to the product page is good.
Headlines that work
“Doctor in [city] reveals why [pain] gets worse after 50” · “The [profession] who discovered [simple solution]” · “[Country]: why thousands are switching from [common product] to this”. No direct cure claims, no brand name in the headline.
Image: real person, looking at the camera, home setting. Stock photos have 40% lower CTR.
Campaign
- Taboola: 1 campaign per country, manual CPC of 0,15–0,40 € to start, SmartBid after 20 conversions. Separate desktop and mobile (CPA is very different).
- Block sites during the first 3 days: anything with high CTR and zero conversions (gaming, gossip sites). Your blocklist is the account’s most valuable asset.
- Minimum budget to learn: 100 €/day for 5 days.
- Outbrain: same approach, less volume in Eastern Europe, more in Italy/Spain.
Compliance
Taboola reviews both the advertorial AND the final page. You need: an “advertising content” notice, results disclaimer, privacy policy, and contact info. Before-and-after images only with a disclaimer. Rejections delay things by 24–48h — submit 3 variations at once.
NUMBERS (nutra in Europe)
CPC 0,20–0,45 € · ad CTR 0,3–0,8% · advertorial→product 20% · product conversion rate 4–6% → CPA 20–45 €. High volume, lower lead quality than Search; great for COD (phone number on the page).
Retargeting
Meta and Google pixels on the advertorial: people who read 50% and didn’t buy become a low-cost warm audience on other platforms.
