Minea alternative: when it makes sense to switch and which options to look at

Short answer: if you mostly use Minea to look at Meta ads, the Meta Ad Library and FreeSpy's Free plan cover that for free. If you need AI ad analysis or influencer product placements, Minea does things FreeSpy doesn't.

This article compares Minea with the alternatives based on their official pages, checked in October 2026 and re-checked on 1 November 2026. FreeSpy is our product, so we're upfront about where Minea comes out ahead.

How much does Minea cost today?

According to Minea's pricing page, checked on 1 November 2026:

  • Starter: $49 a month, or $39 a month billed quarterly. Includes 10 AI ad analyses, 10 transcriptions and 50 "magic searches" a month.
  • Premium: $99 a month, or $79 billed quarterly. Raises the AI limits and includes 10 stores.
  • Business: $199 a month, or $158 billed quarterly, with unlimited AI features.

Every plan lists Meta ads, products, stores, a brand tracker and daily niche lists, plus a free .Store domain. The "Annual" option is on the page, but the amount isn't: on both of our checks (October and 1 November 2026) the page showed no annual price, so we don't have that number.

On the free plan, Minea contradicts itself: the pricing page lists none, only the sign-up, while the same site's product pages call out "Spy on Ads Free" and say "free plan available" without spelling out what's included. Before you subscribe, check what their free tier actually does in your account.

Why look for a Minea alternative?

The most common reasons people start looking elsewhere:

  1. Price when you're just starting out. $49 a month before you've validated your first product is a heavy bill.
  2. Platform coverage. Minea's pricing page lists Snapchat, Pinterest and TikTok ads as "coming soon". If you're buying TikTok traffic today, you may need another tool.
  3. AI limits on the entry plan. Ten analyses a month run out fast if you mine every day.

One caveat on TikTok: as of 1 November 2026 the pricing page still says "coming soon", but the site keeps a TikTok ads product page live that invites you to "Spy on TikTok Ads Free" and never says which plan the feature belongs to. If TikTok is why you'd subscribe, confirm it with their support before paying.

Minea alternatives, one by one

Meta Ad Library

Free and official. According to Meta's Help Center, checked in October 2026, it contains every active ad running across Meta technologies, and anyone can search it. The catch is the manual work: you search by term or Page and organize everything yourself. The step-by-step is in how to use the Meta Ad Library.

FreeSpy

Mines the Meta Ad Library every day across European countries, Brazil and Latin America, also reads the TikTok and Google (YouTube) ad libraries, and groups ads by product, store and advertiser. You see days live, copies of the same creative, a 0 to 100 index and each advertiser's profile (champion, evergreen or tester). The Free plan costs $0 and includes Top Scaled, categories, Explore with a COD filter, up to 3 collections, a monitor for up to 5 advertisers and MCP access with 100 calls and up to 1,000 ads a day. Pro costs $39 a month or $390 a year. See pricing.

PiPiADS

For TikTok advertisers. The official site presents it as a TikTok and Facebook tool, with Basic at $49 a month and a free trial of 500 credits, according to the plans section checked in October 2026.

BigSpy

For people who want several networks. According to BigSpy's pricing page, checked in October 2026, Starter costs $69 a month and covers Facebook and Instagram, while Growth, at $159, adds TikTok, YouTube, Google Ads and others. More details in BigSpy alternative.

Minea or FreeSpy: what does each do better?

Minea is better at:

  • AI ad analysis and transcription;
  • influencer product placements;
  • store listings and a brand tracker in the same dashboard.

FreeSpy is better at:

One practical point: FreeSpy charges in dollars. Pro is a card subscription (or Apple Pay and Google Pay) that renews automatically and that you can cancel whenever you want.

Before canceling any subscription, run a one-week test with both tools open. Pick a niche, look for ads that have been active for more than 30 days with the same creative repeated, and write down how many candidates each tool gave you and how long it took. That number, in your niche, is worth more than any feature list.

How to choose

  • You only advertise on Meta and you're validating products: start with the Meta Ad Library and FreeSpy Free. Pay when you actually miss a feature.
  • You need AI to analyze and transcribe creatives at volume: Minea delivers that on its plans.
  • Your traffic is TikTok: look at PiPiADS, or BigSpy from Growth up.
  • You want to compare everything first: the roundup of the best spy tools of 2026 puts all eight side by side.

Frequently asked questions
