Cloaker: when to use it, when NOT to, and what Google detects in 2026

Ricardo Lemos · 2026-10-07

A cloaker isn’t magic — it’s risk management. Our rule:

DON’T use it for a normal product (nutra without medical claims, fashion, home). The maintenance cost is higher than the upside.
USE it when the page needs claims that the policy doesn’t allow and the product justifies the risk.

What gets you flagged today: datacenter IP during ad review, the same identical white page across multiple domains, a JS redirect on the first load, a new domain (<30 days). What helps you stay under the radar: a white page with real, indexed content, domains with history, server-side decisions based on IP reputation + ASN, never on user-agent alone.
