Affiliate who scaled 1 offer to 3 countries: structure and numbers

André Pimentel · 2026-10-07

Offer

The offer we chose was a health and wellness product focused on weight loss, which already had a positive track record in other markets. The average order value was R$ 199. The affiliate commission was 50%, resulting in R$ 99,50 per sale. The initial average conversion rate on the landing page was 5%, which is considered good for this niche.

Pre-sell

The pre-sell strategy was essential. We created a page featuring customer testimonials, case studies, and an explainer video. We used psychological triggers like scarcity and social proof. It cost R$ 1.200 to create the page, but with the conversion rate improving to 8%, the ROI turned out positive. The page structure was tested and optimized using user feedback and analytics tools.

Countries

The offer was scaled to three countries: Brazil, Portugal, and Spain. Each country got its own targeting, taking culture and consumer behavior into account. In Brazil, we focused on Facebook and Instagram; in Portugal, we used Google Ads; and in Spain, TikTok was the main platform. The initial investment was R$ 5.000 in each country, split across different channels.

CPA

The initial cost per acquisition (CPA) was R$ 30 in Brazil, R$ 25 in Portugal, and R$ 35 in Spain. After optimizing, we managed to bring the CPA down to R$ 20 in Brazil and R$ 22 in Portugal, but the CPA in Spain stayed at R$ 35 due to intense competition. Net profit per sale was therefore R$ 79,50 in Brazil and R$ 77,50 in Portugal.

Lessons

  1. Testing is essential: What works in one country may not work in another. Always test your campaigns before scaling.
  2. Ongoing optimization: Monitoring performance data and adjusting your strategies accordingly is crucial. Using tools like FreeSpy to keep an eye on competitors can be a good practice.
  3. Be careful with targeting: The wrong targeting can increase your CPA and reduce campaign effectiveness. Always analyze your target audience before getting started.
  4. Diversify your channels: Don’t rely on a single channel. Explore different platforms to reach a broader audience.
